Sidney B. Rosenberg
The Rosenbergs in Argentina |
After graduation Sid earned his M.B.A. and eventually a Ph.D., both from Georgia State. He now holds an endowed professorship in real estate at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. From 1972 to 1988 he prepared for his teaching career, actually working in real estate development and mortgage banking. His wife, Pauline, has a master’s degree in nursing from the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in Scotland; today she’s a health-care privacy director.
They have two children, Matthew and Nick Patterson, and Matthew is graduating from North Florida, magna cum laude, on our reunion weekend, which is why Sid and Pauline won’t be with us.
Siod writes, “I have in-laws to visit in Scotland, England and Australia. My academic career has given me a chance to follow my travelling passion, and I have been to about 85 countries. Wildlife trips to Africa have been my favorite, and Pauline and I will be going again this summer.”
Sid is the author of about 10 articles about real estate and finance in academic journals and two books. In his free time he enjoys traveling and bicycling.
