Samuel B. Preston

Sam Preston is managing director of NSM Capital Management in Greenwich, Conn. After graduation he was awarded a Woodrow Wilson fellowship, and he earned his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1972.

He’s married to a minister in the United Methodist Church – “a great woman,” chimes in Hal Clark, and “proof that the Lord is gracious indeed” – and they live in Spring Lake, N.J. They have four children: Dave, 34; Brad, 32; Frank, 30; and Tate, 27.

Sam is active in the church and enjoys fly-fishing.
