Robert V. May

Bob May has been a partner and chief investment officer of Trent Capital Management in Lexington, Kentucky for 18 years. Earlier he was a securities broker at J.C. Bradford & Co.; head of long-range planning and finance for C.H. Bailey Ltd. in Wales; and president of his family business, R.V. May Co., a welding-supply company. After W&L Bob received an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at UVa.

He and his wife, Virginia (Ginny), a Hollins alumna, have a son, Andrew, 35, who earned a B.A. from Vanderbilt; and a daughter, Shelton, 31, who has a B.A. from Miami (Ohio). They have a summer home in Highlands, N.C.
