Mavis is a real estate broker and investor in Houston. He’s married to Wendy, a B.A. graduate of Bryn Mawr, and they have two children: Winifred Riser, 34, and Cooke Kelsey, 31. His proudest accomplishment is that “my kids are nice people.” He and Wendy are both volunteers in the community, and Mavis serves on various not-for-profit boards. Hobbies: hunting and hiking. They have second homes in Texas and Colorado.
